Definitely recommended. The hotel is very well situated, close to the river, easy to find and just a short walk from the main town. We arrived about 1900, to a warm and efficient welcome. All hotel staff we met were friendly and very competent. English spoken by all. Our room was a good size (for France) and well ordered and comfortable. The room was very quiet, and I expect would be so during the week as well. It is certainly a good and economical choice for people wanting to see this part of country, or on business in Brive. A hotel does not have a rest, but a good breakfast is provided, and a limited range of meals is available at other times. I imagine these are pre-prepared, but they would be welcome to a weary traveller. The town offers a wide range of eating choices (the one we happened upon was excellent) within walking distance .

Our only quibble was the lack of a frigo, which is not a common accessory in France, but something the French hospitality industry as a whole might care to look at in their ratings systems.

Congratulations on your policy of supplying only the basics: while at first we were surprised at not having a small fridge of tea and coffee making facilities in the room we found it was not really a problem at all. Your basic supplies of liquid soaps were fine too - we really dont all need small soaps and shampoos clogging up the earth! Fabulous breakfast with a great range of food

The rooms are nicely decorated, comfortable with tea and coffee amenities, and they even have a balcony; the staff is friendly and helpful, and there is convenient parking available.

For this range of rates, I regret that the rooms did not have any coffee or tea in rooms.

The place was spotless, and the friendly staff made me feel welcome; the double room with a balcony was fantastic, and the complimentary WiFi was a nice perk.

The place was pleasant but we were a little bit surprised it was so far from the interstate since it was the reason for us to stay there. On the other hand, the location was very nice since we could walk to the city and the restaurants.

The continental breakfast was enjoyable, and the staff here were excellent, knowledgeable, and helpful with any issues that arose.
